Open Microsoft Explorer (right click "My Computer" and choose option "Explore")

Click the plus sign (on the left) next to your "Drive C:" to view all folders

Click on the yellow folder named TFS4 (on the left side of the split screen)

Right Click on the file named tfsap.mde (on the right side of the split screen) and choose option "Rename"
Rename this file to  tfsap1.mde

then Right Click on the file named Oper_manual.doc(on the right side of the split screen) and choose option "Rename"
Rename this file to  Oper_manual1.doc




 
Download the approriate version (tfsap97.exe or tfsap2k.exe) for your program update and save to the folder of your choice
 
Double click on the file you downloaded (tfsap97.exe or tfsap2k.exe)
 
Click "OK" if you renamed your old files. Make sure the "Unzip to folder",in the next box shows C:\TFS4 
(if not, change it) and then click "Unzip". 

After the unzip is complete, click the close button. The program will automatically replace the renamed files 
(above) with the new ones.
  
You are now ready to run TFS as normal....




 
Notes:
1)    When I refer to Click (above) that is with the left mouse button and could be a double click, depending on how 
your computer is configured.
2)    If you don't like the new "look and feel" of the program, you can revert back to your old version by reversing  
the renaming that occured above.
